William Robert “Butch” Gilmore

William Robert Gilmore, age 77, of Crestview, FL passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2020. He was born on February 7, 1943 in Pensacola, FL. Butch, as he was known to his friends, was a member of First Assembly of God and Victory Assembly of God churches where he was a member and a bassist. He served in the Army from 1965-1971. He was an avid musician, devoted father and grandfather, and a lover of classic movies. Butch was preceded in death by his daughter, Shelly Gilmore Fails.

He was survived by his mother, Dottie Gilmore; his brother, William Gilmore; his sister, Dorothy Hastey; his grandchildren, Kayleigh Fails and Brandon Fails.
