Obituary

Sheila Kay Green, age 56, went to be with the Lord on Saturday April 23, 2016. She was born on September 9, 1959 in Okaloosa County and was a lifelong resident of the Baker and Crestview areas. Before retiring, she worked as a Bookkeeper and Secretary for Baker School and then Walker Elementary School. She faithfully attended church at Campton Assembly of God. Sheila was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She will be forever remembered for her generous heart and undeniable faith in God.

            Sheila was proceeded in death by her father William Booker of Baker. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Larry Green of Crestview; Son Chase Green of Crestview; Daughter Erica Bolton and husband Brandon Bolton of Crestview; grandchildren Austin and Emma Kay Bolton of Crestview; Step children Stephanie Monte, Shoanette Summerlin, Jeff Green and their children; Mother Rachel Booker of Baker, Sister Doris James and family of Brewton Alabama; Brother Gary Booker and family of Baker as well as many extended family members and friends.

            Visitation will be held Monday, April 25, 2016 at Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home from 5-7 PM. The Funeral will be held in the Chapel  at Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 11AM. Burial will follow at Bullard Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
