Delores Hardin

Dolores Hardin, born in Laurel Hill, passed away in Missouri April 7, 2017.  She was retired from Okaloosa County School System and was a former cosmetologist at “The Stylist.” Dolores was also a past President of Jr. Women’s Club and a member of the Garden Club.  She was of the Presbyterian faith.  She was preceded in death by her parents Rev. William Lee and Zadie McCurley. husbands, Albert Lee Barr and Vernie J. Hardin, step son Larry J. Hardin, brothers: John and Don McCurley, sisters: Ola M. Barnhill Hickman, Alice York, Bessie Pennington, and Audrey Winstead, and lifelong friend Charles Spivey, Sr.

Survived by sons, David Russell Barr and wife Shelley, Ray Barr and Gene Barr; step children, , Connie Sides, Dorene Sprague and Marlene Oliver; grandchildren, David R. Barr II, Kimberly Lynn Barr, and Tiffany Leigh Barr; and ten step grandchildren.

A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 5-7 PM at Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10- AM at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Liveoak Park Cemetery, Crestview.
