I am so blessed to have known Mr. Duane over the past years and will always cherish the memories of you both together. He was an amazing, strong, and happy man who I enjoyed the pleasure of his stories each visit. I can't imagine the pain he was suffering. Just know you are in my thoughts and prayers always. He is your angel shining bright down upon you to guide you always. I love you dearly.

What a great loss. Back in 1971 he was an original 919 Tactical Airlift Group pioneer. I inherited my job as wing director of safety officer from him. A great pilot, a conscientious and competent officer and a great guy.
