Gloria was a special lady who meant the world to so many! I was fortunate to meet her a few years before she retired. So sorry that I wasn't able to attend her Celebration of Life. She made the best bananna split dessert!
Praying for her family to find comfort in the fact that she is in heaven, singing with the angels!

I was not able to express my condolences and to talk with anyone at Gloria Jean's service today; I was so overwhelmed with feeling such a sense of loss with her passing. I have great respect for her in her professional accomplishments and for the caring person she was. She never forgot to call my mother (Aunt Rubye) on her birthday, I have seen the little tokens as a remembrance she left at the graves of mother and my sister Patricia I was so touched that she had visited. Hearing stories of her devotion to Aunt Nellie and Uncle Joe touched all our hearts. I have fond memories of the last time we spent any time together, Aunt Katie, me and her had lunch in Crestview and we all got the silly giggles had everyone looking at that table of women of an age we wouldn't admit to, carrying on like teenagers. A Retired Business Owner, Credit Union President and General Manager of a company but it felt so good to set aside demands to be just girls from Boggy talking about the old days and old friends. I hope you and your family keeps remembering all her smiles and finds some comfort holding the memories in your hearts. When she talked of you all you could see it in her eyes how much she loved you with her whole heart.

So sorry for your loss. May God comfort you and be with you. Gloria was a wonderful person. I remember her enjoying the races at Galiver, our great times at Baker United Methodist Church, and many days at the Credit Union. She would just come out and "speak" to me a minute or raise her hand to wave and smile. She will be missed!

Dear Ricky, Stephanie and family,
We are so sorry for your loss. There is nothing like losing a mom or grandmother.
Both hurt so badly. The Lord gave me a song a couple of weeks after my mom
died. Part of it is that we are to live out her legacy. We are to go on but it can
be so hard. Let the Lord hold your hands.
Love in Christ Jesus,
Danny and Cindy Brunson and family

I have the BEST memories of both my Aunt Gloria and Uncle Wayne. I guess they have been my profound favorites throughout these 42 years. I'd like to believe I too, hold a special place in each of their hearts. I know this.....California wasn't even far enough for my momma to drag me away from My Aunt Gloria!!!! I wasn't there long, and I was 3 when we moved there , and there she was--all smiles n easter baskets!!! I have memories of girls night sleepovers n so many special thanksgivings n Christmas's --tbh once our families outgrew being able to get together on Drewson -Christmas and thanksgiving became just 2 days on the calander no different than any other, never again to be as special as all our Holliday's with Uncle Wayne dressed like Santa n Aunt Gloria in charge---as always and we loved it that way!! I could ho on n on for hours , maybe for days so for the sake of my swollen eyes n space , I will cut this short--My Aunt Gloria was always the female figure I looked up to, admired and desired to be most like!! A strong , smart n absolutely amazing lady u have been in my life . I will miss lunch w u at Red Lobster, but I'll take Anthony to feed those ducks and remember u and how much we love u!!! Forever in our hearts u will be...........I love u, Anthony loves u and were missing your beautiful face n sweet spirit so much already.

Sending my deepest sympathy to the family of Gloria. Our acquaintance went back to our elementary years in Niceville. Several years ago we met at the museum, enjoyed a visit, shared some laughs, and reminisced over many shared memories.
