Rodger Dale Carroll

Rodger Dale Carroll, 68, of Navarre, Florida, passed away on August 20, 2016.

Rodger Dale was born on November 8, 1947 in Crestview, Florida. He served in the U.S. Army from November 12, 1965 to November 8, 1968. He entered as an E1 and was assigned to the engineer unit and finished as an E5. Following the service, he continued as a heavy equipment crane operator.

Rodger Dale is survived by his daughter, Romonda Grater; son-in-law, Russell Grater of Navarre, Fl; daughter, Dana Carroll of Crestview, Fl; son, Marc Carroll, Daughter-in-law, Mandy Carroll of Tallahassee, Fl; seven grandchildren, Morgan Neeley, Julie Carroll, Zach Wagner, Meranda Enfinger, Christopher Carroll, Justen Grater, and Shelby Grater; three great grandchildren; sister, Gloria Dean LaPointe of Vidor, TX and sister, Brenda Neesmith of Crestview, Fl.

He was preceded in death by his parents Rufus and Ethel (Ziglar) Carroll; brother, Billy Ray Ziglar, and his best pal Tiny Dale Carroll.

A celebration of life service will be held for Family from 4:00pm to 5:00pm and Friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home, 436 West James Lee Blvd. Crestview, Fl 32536. The Funeral will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 10:00am. Reverend Donnie Cadenhead will be  officiating. Burial will follow at Liveoak Park Memorial Cemetery.
