Timmy C. Collinsworth

Timmy C. Collinsworth, age 60, of Escambia Farms, passed away Friday evening, May 6, 2016, after a brief illness. Tim was born in Valparaiso, FL, to the late Robert Clifton Collinsworth and Lonnie Lou (Smith) Collinsworth. He was a lifelong resident of Okaloosa County and Escambia Farms. He worked in the Auto parts business in the area for over 25 years, eventually retiring from CarQuest Auto Parts. He was an avid outdoorsman, and loved hunting and fishing with friends and family. Tim was a dedicated and loving husband, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed by his family and many friends. In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by a baby brother, Charles Edward Collinsworth. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Emily K. Collinsworth, three sons, Robert Miles Collinsworth, Alan Lee Collinsworth and Tyler Payton Collinsworth (wife, Amber); a brother, Larry Ted Collinsworth; a sister Donna Kay Clements (husband, Laurence); and three grandchildren, Cody, Timothy and Easton. A time of visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Monday, May 9, 2016, at Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 2 PM Tuesday at the funeral home, with Carlos Jones, Jr. presiding. Burial will follow in Wing Cemetery, Wing, AL.
